Founded in 1980, the legendary Einstürzende Neubauten have been following their own path for more than four decades. The band’s unique, unmistakably individual sound, the special colours conjured from the instruments of their own making, the creative use of electronics, humour, irony and an unquenchable spirit of experimentation form a mix that is impossible to describe in terms of rock, alternative pop, mainstream or subculture. In 2024 the band present their latest album on a European tour. Come to the Akvárium Klub for a first-hand experience of these groundbreakers’ alien pop, their ‘folk music for outsiders and outcasts.’
