The collective and concerted presentation of the values of contemporary Hungarian music: ever since its foundation in 1996, this has been the chief mission of the Budapest Music Center as a concert organizer, record label and information centre. Home to a Concert Hall, a Library with a music collection of 100,000 items, and the Opus Jazz Club, which showcases the latest in European jazz, BMC’s building in Mátyás Street hosts 400 concerts a year.

The House of Music Hungary has a restaurant, a café and a snack bar. The latter is open until whatever performance is on.
Cloakroom
The cloakroom is free of charge, and visitors to the exhibitions are required to use it. There are also free lockers for bags and small coats.
Parking
If you come by car, you can use the Museum Underground Car Park, an 800-lot facility. It is accessible from Dózsa György út, between Damjanich and Dembinszky utca. From the underground car park, the House of Music Hungary can be reached in a few minutes’ walk through City Park, with signposts to guide you along the way.
Buy your tickets online for 2 hours of free parking on the performance day. Claim your discount by having your parking slip validated at the information desk of the House of Music Hungary. If your concert is in the evening, validate your parking slip before the start of the performance, until 8 pm. The parking discount provided by the House of Music Hungary is valid for one entry and exit on the day of the performance.
Bicycles can be locked to the bike stands outside the House of Music Hungary.

The House of Music Hungary is completely barrier-free and easily accessible for wheelchair users. Barrier-free routes within the building are indicated by pictograms.

Müpa Budapest is one of Hungary’s best-known cultural brands and one of the most modern cultural institutions, bringing together the different arts in a unique way: here classical and popular music rendezvous with jazz and world music, opera, contemporary circus and dance with literature and film. In Müpa Budapest, you can eat or have refreshments at P’Art Restaurant and Café, or at the mobile snack bars you can find in the foyer and on the upper floors before the performances and during the intervals.
Parking
You can use Müpa Budapest’s underground and surface parking facilities free of charge with a non-free ticket for one of the day’s performances. The parking discount provided by such a ticket is valid for one entry and exit on the day of the performance.
Free bike storage is available for those arriving by bicycles.

Budapest’s unique new cultural venue, the National Dance Theatre, opened its doors in Millenáris Park at the beginning of 2019. The building, equipped with the latest in theatre technology and featuring special architectural solutions, offers a theatre and chamber theatre for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building is a community space open for visitors to the park, making the Millenáris even more integrated in the urban texture of the capital.
