Balázs Zságer has been active on the Hungarian and international electronic music scene since the early 2000s, and as the leader of Žagar, he has produced several studio albums and film scores. His work is inspired by the antipodes of nature and technology, calm and chaos, the spiritual and the synthetic, and he explores the possibility of identity and meaning in this space between the extremes. His songs have a surreal, almost cyber-mystical atmosphere. At his concerts, he usually creates a psychedelic soundscape, using synth textures and slowly changing processes to keep his listeners in a hypnotic flow. At Margó, we will expand this space with a special guest: Balázs Zságer will be joined by a prominent figure of the Hungarian underground jazz and hip-hop scene, Dom Beats.
This programme of the Liszt Fest is presented by Müpa Budapest as a joint event with Kultúrkombinát Kft.
