Between 15 and 18 October, readers will once again have the opportunity to discover the best of world and Hungarian literature at the Autumn Margó Literary Festival, held in the National Dance Theatre at Millenáris. Bernardo Atxaga, Steinunn Sigurðardóttir and Beatriz Serrano have already accepted the invitation to the festival.
The Margó Prize for the best first book of prose will be awarded for the twelfth time, and the following authors will take the opportunity to introduce their latest book: András Forgách, László F. Földényi, János Háy, Bence Inkei, Judit Ágnes Kiss, Viktória Lugosi, Rudolf Ungváry, Tibor Keresztury, Zsuzsa Rakovszky, László Sepsi, Anna Emília Szűcs, Edina Szvoren, Mihály Víg, Gábor Vida, Pál Závada and others.
The fifteenth Margó will present a new edition of the special literary concert that features Barbara Schoblocher and that made its debut last year, and this will be where the music of the album made for Tibor Noé Kiss’s novel, Olvadás (Thaw), can be heard for the first time. Tickets for the musical events go on sale in September.
This event series of the Liszt Fest is presented by Müpa Budapest as a joint event with Kultúrkombinát Kft.
