Between 15 and 18 October, readers will once again have the opportunity to discover the best of world and Hungarian literature at the Autumn Margó Literary Festival at Millenáris. Bernardo Atxaga, Mart Kivastik, Grzegorz Musiał, Beatriz Serrano, Steinunn Sigurðardóttir and Karin Smirnoff are among those who have accepted the invitation to the festival.
The Margó Award for the best debut volume of prose will be presented for the twelfth time at the festival, and those who will introduce their new books at the Autumn Margó include Tibor Babiczky, Alexandra Boglutz, Ágnes Bolla, Tibor Bödőcs, Petra Finy, András Forgách, F. László Földényi, János Háy, András Dezső Horváth, Bence Inkei, Orsolya Karafiáth, Judit Ágnes Kiss, Szilvia Kocsis, Szabolcs Kordos, Viktória Lugosi, András Maros, Mona Aicha Masri, Zsuzsanna Megyeri, Mónika Miklya Luzsányi, Balázs Mohácsi, Elza Morcsányi, Anita Moskát, Róbert Németh, Rebeka Petánszki, Zsuzsa Rakovszky, Mátyás Regős, László Sepsi, Attila Szabados, Borbála Szabó, Kornél Szepesi, Dániel Szinvai, Panni Szirmai, Mátyás Szöllősi, Kata Tisza, Kinga Tóth, Szabina Ughy, Rudolf Ungváry, Gábor Vida, Mihály Víg, Kristóf Weber and Pál Závada.
As part of the special literary and musical programme of the anniversary Margó, MORDÁI will give a concert, and the musical programme created for Tibor Noé Kiss’s novel Olvadás (Thaw) can be heard live for the first time. The organisers and the artists will celebrate the 15th anniversary of Margó with a special gala.
This event series of the Liszt Fest is presented by Müpa Budapest as a joint event with Kultúrkombinát Kft.
