This year’s edition of the PONT Festival, one of Hungary’s most colourful series of world music events, focuses on the diverse culture of Turkey. The open-air events will be held in the Museum Garden. Starting in the mid-morning, the family-friendly festival will offer a range of activities that are sure to engage visitors of all ages, including an animation workshop, silk screen printing and live storytelling, all based on the centuries-old Turkish culture. Crafts, gastronomy and music all have their place on the green island of the city centre. In the evening, the Anatolian lyrical tradition rendezvouses with contemporary instrumentation as Nasip Kısmet’s concert fills the park with electrifying Eastern rhythms and mesmerising melodies. Experience, culture, knowledge and recreation on the same day.

This programme of the Liszt Fest is presented by Müpa Budapest as a joint event with Hangvető.
